Testing Information for Colleges

When students apply for college admission in the fall of their senior year they will be required to submit SAT or ACT scores as part of their college application. Each college sets its minimum score requirements for students. Seniors should plan to take one or both of these tests as soon as possible so you have scores to submit with your college applications. For information about how to register and practice for these exams, visit our SAT and ACT Information Page. If you have additional questions or need help registering, please see your school counselor.

You can find more information about college admissions requirements by visiting a college's website. If you have any questions about what a specific college may require, you should reach out to that school directly.

PROBE Fair

Plan to attend the College Fair

The Probe College Tour will be making a visit to White County High School on October 16. This is an opportunity for students to explore college options and connect with many different college admissions counselors. Per Probe guidelines, students must preregister to attend the event. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend with their students.

FAFSA

FAFSA Opens October 1

The FAFSA is a form that students fill out alongside their families to determine their eligibility for federal student aid. It is also how students in the state of Georgia can apply for the HOPE and Zell Miller Scholarships.

WCHS counselors will host a financial aid help night later in the year. Date is TBD.
