White County High School

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to a new school year at White County High School - our BEST one yet! This is a year of new experiences as White County High School and White County NGA become one Warrior Nation! We are proud of our faculty and student body who work together to create an atmosphere of excellence. Our students continue to excel in academics, athletics, fine arts, CTAE programs, and many other electives and activities. Our students' success can only be attained with the encouragement and support among our students, staff, parents, and community. We value the opportunity to work in partnership with you to see that your child has a wonderful experience and receives a world-class education at WCHS.

I am excited to return to WCHS after serving as the Director of White County NGA for two years and as Assistant Principal for Curriculum at WCHS for two years prior to that. Before to going into administration, I taught math in Hall County, GA, Illinois, and Florida as well as coached soccer, cross country, and sponsored student council. I received my undergraduate degree from Trinity International University in mathematics/secondary education, my master's degree from The University of Georgia in educational administration and policy, and my educational specialist degree from The University of Georgia in learning design and technology. I have been married to my husband, Phil, since 2003, and we have twin daughters, Anna and Kate.

At WCHS, our primary responsibility is student learning and offering all students the educational opportunities that will maximize their potential and prepare them for a bright future. In 2015, NGA/WCHS embarked on a 1:1 student Chromebook initiative and we are excited to continue with the initiative this year. Beginning the first week of school, students will receive a Chromebook for instructional purposes, giving them 24/7 access to learning!

We are so glad you are interested in our school. We encourage each parent to become involved with their child's education - We need your support!
