What courses are offered at WCHS?
White County High School offers a wide range of academic and elective courses designed to prepare students for college, career, and beyond.
What is an Advanced Placement (AP) course?
AP (Advanced Placement) courses are college-level courses that follow the College Board curriculum. Students may earn college credit based on their AP exam scores.

AP course sections are created based on student interest and commitment.

Students must sign an AP contract before enrolling.

Important: Students cannot drop AP courses once enrolled.
How are classes selected?

Core academic courses are recommended by teachers based on past performance.

Electives are chosen by students during the registration process.

Guardians have the opportunity to request changes in April of each year for the following school year.
How are classes scheduled?
Scheduling is based on a combination of teacher recommendations, student elective choices, and course availability.
When will I be able to see my schedule in Infinite Campus (IC)?
When and how can schedules be changed?
Schedule changes may only be requested during the April window, and again during the first 3 days of each semester. Schedules will be changed only if:

Academic courses are not balanced.

A pre-requisite course has not been passed and credit was not earned.

The student has already earned credit for the course they wish to drop.

Read the Schedule Change Request Form carefully before submitting.

All requests will be reviewed by the schedule change committee.

If possible, changes will be made based on course availability, enrollment, and conflicts.
